On August 2, 2024, the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between MFUA and Heilongjiang International University, a modern, technologically advanced, dynamically developing university in China, took place.
In his welcoming speech, the Rector of MFUA, Professor Alexey Zabelin noted the long-term friendship, mutual respect between the countries and the high importance of cooperation between universities in the field of education as a contribution to the further development of mutual friendly and partnership relations.
The parties discussed the outlines of future cooperation and joint projects. During the negotiations it was decided to develop a plan of priority steps for the organisation of academic exchanges of students and faculty to be launched this academic year. The parties also agreed to foster the cooperation covering of inclusive education programs, network programs and double degree programs.
Professor Jun Sui, Vice-Rector for International Affairs at Heilongjiang International University, stressed the great interest in the collaboration and pointed out the high potential and wide opportunities of universities in Russia and China.
